This will be wonderful night where parents, students, teachers and the community can enjoy activities together while raising funds that will directly benefit the students of Reagan Academy.  The money that we raise will go to support activities such as Red Ribbon Week, White Ribbon Week, the Science Fair, the birthday table, staff appreciation, and other PVO supported activities. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors, and “share” this great activity.  The following pricing information will help you plan for a great family night out. Games and rides can either be purchased individually with tickets, or by buying the appropriate wristband.  Food can be purchased with tickets or cash.

Reagan Casual Day Rules
Students may wear clothes and accessories of their own choosing as long as they meet Reagan Academy’s dress guidelines. Jeans are allowed. However, on non-uniform days, general guidelines still apply.
Please refer to the handbook for a complete listing. The following items are not allowed:
·         Pajamas
·         Clothing with holes, tears, or stains
·         Spaghetti strap, or midriff tops
·         Clothing with vulgar, sexual, or profane words, phrases or images
·         No face paint or hair color
·         Open toe or heel shoes
·         Socks or stockings must be worn

Say Boo to the Flu

***Say Boo to the Flu and Help Us Increase Educational Funds for Our School***

Flu season is nearly upon us.  Because schools are potential high-risk areas for the transmission of vaccine preventable diseases, we would like to help protect our teachers, staff, student body, their families and the community from the flu by providing a Say Boo to the Flu Immunization Clinic at our school.  The clinic will be administered by Community Nursing Services and specialized pediatric nurses will be on—site to administer Flu Mist (nasal spray) and Flu Shots.

This a public clinic, open to all ages six months through adult.

November 15, 2014  1:00 – 3:00 in the Library

Get vaccinated against the Flu at our school’s on-site Flu Clinic and Community Nursing Services will donate $2 per eligible immunization back to our school!

Community Nursing Services is a Preferred Provider and is contracted to directly bill the following insurances:
Aetna, Altius, Blue Cross, DMBA, Educators Mutual, PEHP, Select Health, Summit Care, United Health Care, Medicare part B, some Medicare Advantage Plans. *VFC vaccine may be available for uninsured children or children with Medicaid and Chip.  Additionally, we accept cash, check or credit card for self-pay situations where an individual is not covered by insurance.

Nebo School District Chess Tournament

When: Saturday December 7th, 2013

Who: Open to all K-6 students residing within Nebo school district boundaries, whether attending public, charter, or home school.

Awards:Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 players in each grade, 1-6.  (Kindergartners will be combined with first graders.)   Other contestants will receive a participation medal.  School trophies will be awarded as well.

Registration: $7 if you register and pay by Nov 23, $12 up until Dec 5.  Registration accepted only through Thursday, Dec 5.  Registration will be limited to 175 students, so register early!  Register and pay online at www.utahchessk12.com/artcity.  No registration/payment accepted at the door!

Nebo School District Parent Seminar on Youth Protection

Monday, October 21, 2013
7:00-8:30 p.m.

This informative seminar will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Boardroom of Nebo District Offices, 350 South Main Spanish Fork, UT.

Guest speaker will be Dr. Greg Hudnall. The topic of discussion will be: substance abuse; bullying; mental health/suicide prevention; and Internet safety/pornography.

There will be community resource representatives in attendance to answer questions you may have and to help you access services that may be needed for your student/family.
