This will be wonderful night where parents, students, teachers and the community can enjoy activities together while raising funds that will directly benefit the students of Reagan Academy.  The money that we raise will go to support activities such as Red Ribbon Week, White Ribbon Week, the Science Fair, the birthday table, staff appreciation, and other PVO supported activities. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors, and “share” this great activity.  The following pricing information will help you plan for a great family night out. Games and rides can either be purchased individually with tickets, or by buying the appropriate wristband.  Food can be purchased with tickets or cash.

Red Ribbon Week

We are VERY excited about this year’s RED RIBBON WEEK.  We want to thank all of the parents for helping us make this week the very best. We know that it could not be a success without your support and participation.

Wednesday -Wear boots with your uniform “Kick Drugs To The Curb”
-“Family Dinner Night” Statistics prove HUGE benefits for families who sit down and eat together often. Choose at least one night to sit down and have dinner together.

Thursday – Crazy Hair Day “Be yourself– Don’t Hide Behind Drugs and Alcohol”
-No hair color allowed.  Wear uniforms.

Friday -Wear jeans and as much Red as you can! “Be A JEAN-ius Stay Away From Drugs”
-“Grim Reaper Day” – We will be marking the students throughout the day to show the devastating statistics of drugs and alcohol.
– Jeans are allowed

OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE…..ESSAY CONTEST
Essay should be titled: THE THEME FOR 2014 RED RIBBON WEEK SHOULD BE….
In a half page come up with your own original theme for Red Ribbon Week 2014 and tell us why you feel it will help others want to be DRUG FREE.    Entries should include a Red Ribbon in the design. The actual ribbon should be a double looped ribbon or bow, as opposed to a single loop. (please refer to Red Ribbon logo on www.redribbon.org/downloads)
All entries will be submitted to the national red ribbon week foundation.  For more information go to http://redribbon.org

Red Ribbon Week – Starts TODAY October 14-18

RED RIBBON WEEK

Theme- “A Healthy me is DRUG FREE”
First, we are VERY excited about this year’s RED RIBBON WEEK.  We want to thank all of the parents in advance for helping us make this week the very best. We know that it could not be a success without your support and participation.  A packet will be sent home on Monday discussing this year’s theme, the schedule for the week, and at home activities.  Please sign appropriate certificates and return them to your child’s teacher to be entered in multiple drawings during the week.

Monday – Wear your Red Uniform Shirt “United We Stand”
– Each student will be given a RED wristband to wear throughout the week.  Please encourage them to wear them each day.
-“Family Night Discussion” Information and certificate included in the packet.

Tuesday -Wear your red uniform shirt backwards “Turn Your Back On Drugs”

RED RIBBON WEEK

We had a great kick-off to our Red Ribbon Week today! So many students wore their Red uniform shirt in support for our Red Ribbon Week! Please be sure to talk to your kids what they talked about during the day.

Here’s what’s coming up:

Tuesday:
Wear your favorite Jersey, Uniform, or Sport Shirt. (with uniform pants)
A – Active (Stay healthy maintain an active lifestyle. Do the things you love to do!)

Wednesday:
Crazy Hair Day – (Reminder: Colored hair is NOT allowed!)
Y – You were born to STAND OUT not “fit in”

Thursday:
Pajama Day (Pajamas must be modest and follow the school dress code)
N – No Excuses! (No matter how hard life may get, No excuses to turn to drugs, Stay comfortable!)

Friday:
Wear your favorite Superhero or Inspirational T-Shirt (jeans are okay. No capes or masks)
O – Outcome (You will be SUPER strong, SUPER healthy and SUPER happy!)
