We are still working on getting a good group together to call local businesses requesting donations for our students. It would be as simple as asking if the company is willing to donate student incentives and follow up with them. This can be done through phone, email, letter or face-to-face visits. We’d love to have more help! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

America has a sacred trust to care for those who defend her. From the warriors who stormed the beaches at Normandy to the brave men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Our Veterans share a legacy of service that crosses generational lines and upholds the values upon which our Nation was founded: service to a cause greater than self.
On Veterans Day, November 12, we come together as a Nation to thank and honor Veterans and active service Men and Women for their service. With that being said we would like all of you to invite your Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Neighbors that have served our country to join us for Breakfast on November 12, 2012. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 AM at Reagan Academy. Please RSVPsrichardson@reaganacademy.org if you would like to attend, or if you know of someone that would like to attend.
It is the week of our Art and Basket Auction. The event will take place this Friday at 6:00, so be sure to clear your calendars! The front office at the school is now set up to accept credit cards to begin purchasing your tickets and preordering your pizzas. Our mega baskets that have been put together are looking amazing, thank you so much for your contributions. We are still short of our goal for individual baskets brought in by families, however. We are going to have a contest to see how many individual baskets that we can get by this Friday: When your family brings in basket for the auction your students will get a point (e.g. you have 3 kids and you bring in a single basket, all 3 kids get a point). The homeroom class that has the most points by Friday will get an ice cream party next week!
